The tiny Sheepadoodle is a mix between the Labradoodle and Goldendoodle, two of the most well-known crossbreeds. There are a few breeds that can match this adorable teddy-bear face. The popularity of this gorgeous dog breed is enormous. The fact that this crossbreed has a singular personality is what gave rise to the tiny doodle craze. They are incredibly amazing, loving, and caring. There is no better dog to choose from.
The F1B Micro Mini Sheepadoodle is a blend of an F1 Sheepadoodle and a toy poodle. The Micro scaled-down Sheepadoodle can shift in size to a little degree relying upon the size of the Dam (F1 doodle) and sire (toy poodle). The F1B Micro small-scale Sheepadoodle may likewise differ in variety and coat, with the daddy being credited for the greater part of these particular compliances.
What is Sheepadoodle
As previously established, the micro Sheepadoodle is a hybrid of the OES and the common poodle. One letter has a significant impact. Make sure the Sheepadoodle and the Sheepadoodle are distinct from one another (a shepherd-poodle mix).
There are four varieties of these cute snuggle puppies that resemble pandas:
- Sheepadoodle F1
- Sheepadoodle F1b
- Sheepadoodle F2
- Mini Sheepadoodle
The History of the Micro Sheepadoodle
It was love at first sight when the Old English Sheepdog and the standard poodle met. The mini Sheepadoodle, a hybrid of two adored breeds, is today’s cutest puppy. We need to start at the beginning and get to know the parents of the little Sheepadoodle. Why would you cross an English sheepdog with a toy or Micro poodle?
In the 1800s, the OES gained popularity. They were mostly employed as herding dogs to assist in keeping other agricultural animals under control. They are an excellent representation of the sheepdog breed, intelligent, and very energetic. It’s interesting to note that the poodle was first developed in Germany to aid with waterfowl hunting.
Due to their small stature, many dog breeders choose to experiment by crossing this breed with others. The Sheepadoodle was thus created! The small Sheepadoodle is unique because it combines the greatest qualities of both breeds the intellect and activity of the sheepdog with the sociability and minimal shedding of the poodle.
General Characteristics of the Standard, Mini, and Micro Sheepadoodle
When you cross a standard poodle with an OES or a standard Sheepadoodle with another Sheepadoodle, you get a standard Sheepadoodle. It is best to own both parents so that one can confirm the ancestry of the best offspring.
The typical doodles can reach heights of 22 inches and weights of up to 60 pounds. This dog is large in every way, even in the heart. An OES and a medium poodle are combined to create a slightly smaller doodle. The mini is less than 22 inches tall and less than 55 pounds in weight. The size is ideal for a family dog.
The micro doodle can only grow to a height of 14 to 19 inches and weigh less than 30 pounds. It’s the ideal tiny dog for people who enjoy taking their pets on vacation with them.
The average size of Micro Mini
Our micro mini sheep doodles don’t come in a wide range of sizes. Although we never know for sure until the puppies are born, Ten Oaks Doodles specialises in raising tiny mini Sheepadoodle puppies with an average weight of 22 pounds or under.
Sheepadoodle Coat Specifications
Due to an F1B cross of a 75% poodle and a 25% Old English Sheepdog, the micro mini Sheepadoodle is thought to have a non-shedding coat. A Sheepadoodle will therefore appear to have a more curly coat. Due to the breeding of poodle colour genes from both parent’s sides, this micro tiny Sheepadoodle mix will result in a greater diversity of colours than an F1 cross. The most common colours for puppies are black and white, sable tri-colour, which has tan and white markings, solid chocolate, black, cream, or even white, phantom, and blue merle. The tiny small blue merle Sheepadoodle is a highly prized breed, and the majority of them have stunning blue eyes.
Shedding/Allergenic
Due to its curly coats being more appealing due to less shedding, the micro mini Sheepadoodle is a suggested breed for persons who suffer from allergies.
The temperature of a Sheepadoodle
The micro mini Sheepadoodle tends to be active, high-strung, and enthusiastic. They are excellent with families, devoted, and affectionate, just like toy poodles.
How to Train a Sheepadoodle
Due to their high intelligence, micro mini Sheepadoodles are relatively simple to converse with and train. As with any dog, negative habits can emerge if they are not corrected, so early and persistent training is advised. At Ten Oaks Doodles, we begin the training procedure as soon as the puppies are ready to leave for their new families.
